Hi all,

As you have noticed, CEFC has just recently made many changes to the forum. Our ultimate objective is to unite all true CE fans in one forum, and be as bonded, united as we all can be. True CE fans are fans that have supported CE all the way until now. If you have been following us, you would have known the journey that we all went through. Give yourselves a pat on the back for not giving up on CE, and here’s hoping that there’ll be more to come!

Rules and regulations are needed to fulfil and meet our objectives. We might seemed to be stricter now than before, but as usual, like we have already repeated so many times, we are still the same big old family, with new family members joining us periodically. Rules and regulations are enforced so that we will be able to provide everyone with a sense of belonging, mutual respect and the same unity and love that we have for CE.

Importantly, we would like all of you to remember that this is a Chun Ella Fanatic Craze. Therefore, with this stated, please remember that we support both Chun and Ella. Please do not be totally biased against one person. By loving her, it means loving him as well. But loving them, it means loving S.H.E and Fahrenheit together as well. We know that biasness would still be around no matter how much we try to remind you that this is a CE forum. But at least, minimise the biasness level between CE alright? We must love both of them! :D

We will really appreciate it if all family members of CEFC will be able to understand and follow the rules stated. By understanding us, and the rationale behind all these changes, you have truly become a strong and firm CE supporter, as well as becoming a true supporter of CEFC.

So, in advance, we would like to thank you for your understanding, and for following the rules and regulations stated.

Please note that if we find any rules and regulations broken, we will not hesitate to deal with the member in time.

1. No spamming and flooding.

What is considered spamming? Spamming refers to the posting of one word, smilies only, and meaningless posts just to increase the post count of the member. Please take note that in specific threads that require for members to reply, replies such as “I want to watch” will also be considered as spam.

2. Be an active member

The administrators of CEFC will be doing a pruning of members on the 1st and 15th of every month. This means that members who did not post for one month would be sent with a warning email to remind them to post.

Every one of the active members here contributes something to share the information with everyone of us in here. All of them put in the hard work, and dedication in bringing the latest findings, updated news and etc just so that you will be updated. Learning how to appreciate them will make each one of them feel much better, and feel that sharing of information here is worth while. All of us are human, and once in a while, we would feel appreciated if you would just leave words of thanks and encouragement and participate in the discussion together with us.

Join us in this family, and participate in the discussions as much as possible. We understand that sometimes, you might not know what to say, or your command of English might not be that good. Or some of you might feel too old and etc. But all these does not constitute to the reasoning that you can’t post at least once a month. We welcome anyone of any language, age and etc. Just simply the fact that you are a CE fan would make us feel bonded already! So try to come out and mingle with us yeah?

Please know that inactive members are sent with warning letters might face the possibility of having their membership revoked. So.. start posting now alright?

3. Rules in different board are just as important

Rules and regulations can be found in every board. Please make sure you take the time to read all rules and regulations in the respective board before participating in any discussions.

These rules and regulations in every board are just as important as this general rules and regulations.

So we would appreciate it if you would take the time out to read and follow these rules as well!

4. Double postings and irrelevant threads

Please take note that all information that has already been posted would be merged under the same thread, or would be deleted. Double posting of information would not be advisable, and we urge everyone to ensure that the topic has not been discussed previously before posting your topic.

Also, please try to ensure that the topic that you are opening would be relevant to the board. Please note that all irrelevant threads would be moved to the relevant boards immediately.

5. Translation of posts and news

Please note that all news articles will be translated. However, all magazine scans, and multimedia clips will not be translated unless requested. Unless, of course it’s relevant to CE, we will translate it, but other than that, like for example, Fahrenheit goes on Yu Le Bai Fen Bai, we won’t translate it unless you request for it.

Please give around 1 or 2 days for the translation to be ready.

And if you see an indication in the post that the translator has already accepted the article for translation, please be patient while the translator is translating.

For those who want to help in translating even though you are not a translator, feel free to do so! We would be more than happy!

But the only request is that you indicate in the thread in bold and another colour to notify a translator that you are already working on the translation so that another translator will not need to work on it yeah?

All translation that were done by members of CEFC, please credit them accordingly if you are bringing the translation outside. Prior to that, please seek their permission before posting their translation elsewhere. And even if permission is granted, please state, xxx (member’s name) of [CEFC].

6. Try not to go extremely out of topic

We understand that going out topic is common, and here, at CEFC, we’re more relaxed on members going out topic. But please try to refrain from going too much out of topic. If there is a need, you can open up a thread regarding the topic you are discussing about in the relevant chat room.

7. No bashing of fellow members and try not to speak negatively of other artistes

From past experiences in the forum, we have come to realise that we’re a passionate bunch. So, preferably, please do not bash an artiste without reason.

Also, please do not use vulgarities in the forum.

How do we classify without reason?

Reasons that deemed the behaviour of the artiste by the media, please do not bash. Media reports often misunderstand an artiste, just like how some media report misunderstands Ella. So, please refrain from bashing these artistes. One such example will be Angela Zhang. So, unless there is a reason for you to do so (if you really feel the need to), please refrain from this.

However, we do not want to be so restrictive, therefore, if there really is a need for you to comment negatively, please do it rationally and tactfully.

Always remember that unless it is seen by yourself pertaining to her behaviour, never trust a news report unless you heard or seen it for yourself. Never judge a person based on a news report alone.

8. Signature size

Please limit all signature sizes to 500 px (width) by 250 px (height)

9. Always remember to credit and quote your sources

This is a very important point! We are really extremely grateful to you for trying to update CEFC, and to share your thoughts with us. Please always remember that if you are posting pictures, news or multimedia clip from another source, always remember to include the source of the news and etc, and also give proper credits to where you got the information from.

10. Please edit your quotes

We are trying to limit our bandwidth usage as much as possible. So to all members who are quoting, please edit the quote to include who you are replying to, and to only include what is necessary. Please do not quote a whole chunk of words unless you’re replying to them.

In addition, please remove the image tag if you’re quoting pictures since pictures will take up even more bandwidth.

Lastly…
