Criteria for application to join Elite members group

How to be an Elite member?

1. Minimum total number of posts should meet 1000 posts and above.
2. Please note that your participation in the forum must not be restricted to your selected arena. This is a Chun and Ella forum; therefore, we would expect that these members post equally in all sections. If your posts are accumulated through chit chatting instead of also participating with us in discussion, you would not be considered as an Elite member.
3. Membership application is approved based on your activity in the forum. It’s logical that by the time you hit 1000 posts, you would already have been familiar with most regular and active members in the forum, so approval would also be judged indirectly on your relationship with the other members in CEFC.

How do you apply for it?

1. Take note of your number of posts. If you have hit 1000 post, you can apply for the membership
2. At the index page, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you will find the legends of the different groups in CEFC
3. Click on the group, “Elite members”
4. Click on [join group] to request for membership
5. Membership will be approved or denied by the group moderator.
6. Upon approval, you will have access to the elite board.

ehh, can i ask what's so special about it? or is it just a name (which is also perfectly fine with me since it sounds kinda cool, lols)

Elite board is for CE information that is regarded as sensitive to us.. so in order to protect them, we only allow members who are active and close with CEFC to access that board so that they will know more news about them..

In a way, we're also trying to encourage everyone to participate together with us and become even closer than we alr are. :)

No chance to link this with "Contributions to CEFC Monetary Fund"? Just wondering if you guys are open to the credit card scheme, where when one wants to graduate from classic to gold, they'll just pay 30USD and from gold to prestige, another 30USD. Rather than earn points (synonymous to 5000 posts) by buying with credit card and use the points to upgrade status. Hehehehe. Just adding to the global moderators' brainstorming sessions.

I'll try my best though..the only thing I hate is when I read a topic...type a long post but instead of pressing the "send" button I press the "back" button of my broswer because I'm afraid of my post getting deleted.

I'll have to stop that habit..I don't really want to become a elite member per-se I just what the title is after the 4th mushroom =P
