APPLY IN THIS THREAD! POST YOUR APPLICATION AS A REPLY TO THIS TOPIC.

Eligibility: [must fulfil both.]
1. Moderators should log in very often, at the very least once in every 3 days.
2. Try to be active in the forum, like commenting here and there. Don’t make you seem so strict by just posting something and leaving after that.

Expectations of being a moderator:

1. The moderator we are recruiting are both category/board and duty moderators. This means that they will take care of their respective category (eg. Only Chun) and also provide news, pictures or multimedia according to their duty.

2. Moderators who become inactive without a valid reason OR do not carry out your duty well will be removed from your position. Moderators can be promoted to Global Moderators if you can fulfil certain requirements.

3. Taking care of your board means making sure that there are none of these in your respective boards:

a) No off-topics (we close an eye to that, so dun have to be so strict on this unless they go extremely out of topic.)

b) No fighting/quarrelling

c) No spamming is allowed. (One word, emoticons only, posts without any meaning such as “I want to watch” are considered as spamming.)

d) No advertisements allowed without administrator's permission

e) Make sure that all the topics opened in your board are related to the board section. Please note that topics in CE section, if the news, clip or picture is related to the both of them, the topic can also be opened there. If you notice any topics not related to you board, please move them to the appropriate board.

f) If there are topics that have the “update” word in your board, please monitor the board to make sure you change the latest update date so that members are aware of the latest updated related to the topic.

g) Please ensure that no similar topics between your boards are being opened. If there are similar topics opened, please merge them immediately. If similar topics are being opened in other boards, and you have noticed that the topic is related to your topic, please inform the board moderator to do moderation for you. And of course, if you notice your board topic not relevant/or could be relevant to the CE section, do a moderation to move the topic over to CE section, and inform the respective board moderator to do a merging of thread in their board.

h) Please make sure that you can commit before applying for the post. We expect moderators to be doing their job in keeping CEFC organised and bonded for all CE fans.

i) Try to encourage the participation of members in forum discussion and etc.

j) Please ensure that all rules and regulations in this forum are being followed. It doesn’t matter if it is the general rules and regulations, or the specific rules and regulations in your respective boards. Please make sure that these rules and regulations are being followed strictly. This would also include posting format.

k) If possible, when you are moderating, please include the reason for moderation. This is done so that the topic poster might/would have the chance to know why her post is being moderated, and hopefully, they might remember the mistake they made in mind.


Take Note:

1. Moderators are able to have special powers only in their assigned categories. This means that if you are a CE board moderator, u will have no power in Only Chun, Only Ella or Others boards.

2. Moderators are able to delete, edit posts etc. to keep your assigned category tidy, check out your moderator power the moment you're assigned the post you want.

3. Moderators, if there is a certain period of time where u can’t visit the forum due to exams or going overseas, please take leave in Staff board. [It can be accessed the moment u become a staff.]

4. Maximum application for moderator can only be for two positions. However, the 2nd position you’re applying for have to be in the same category/board as your first post, unless the second post u want is either translator or designer.

FOR EXAMPLE

I want to be a CE Gallery Moderator. So the next position I can apply for has to be related to a gallery board, meaning, I can only apply to moderate either Chun’s Gallery or Ella’s Gallery as my second moderator position.

4. If there are problems with the moderating panel, please seek the help of other moderators or the administrator.

Take note:
Topics that are related to this section are anything to do with both Chun and Ella. Even if they don’t appear in the same stage together, but as long as both of them are at the same event, you can post everything related to them in here, in the same thread. Likewise, if in a clip, Chun mention about Ella, or have any hint or indication that is linked to Ella and vice versa, it can also be posted under this section.

Note that the above is not meant for CE Lyrics, Creations and Request board. This is because in these 3 boards, all Only Chun and Only Ella related items can be posted in these boards. Such as lyrics to S.H.E and Fahrenheit songs, request for Only Ella or Only Chun items and creations for Only Chun and Only Ella creations can also be posted in these boards.

Please note that for CE Chat room, only stuffs relating to both CE can be opened there. If members want to chat about only Ella, or only Chun, they can do so in the S.H.E chat room or Fahrenheit Chat room.

Please take note that Chun’s message will also include those times when Chun updates his blog pictures.

Also take note that any news/messages/pictures/multimedia by the rest of the Fahrenheit members can be updated in the Fahrenheit Chat room.

P/S: If you wish to apply for Only Chun section moderator, we would preferably hope that you frequently visit other Fahrenheit or Chun forums as well.

Translators – Total: 5 posts

Expectations and job scope:

1. Translate all news articles of the entire forum.
2. Translate all multimedia and scans in the entire forum when requested.
3. Has to be very active in the forum, and also be very active in translating.
4. The post of the translator is very important in CEFC, thus, we hope that all translators can commit to their job scope.
5. Translate every piece of news/ requested translation within 1 or 2 days.
6. Communicate with each other frequently to prevent double translation. This would waste the effort of another translator. So please indicate clearly before hand that you will be translating the related content. Make the indication clear (bolded and another colour font) in the post of the topic starter.
7. All translators please make sure no other translators/members have made an indication that they will be translating. Always make sure that no one is translating before you accept the article for translation.
8. Always remember to include the source of the news, indicate in the article who translated it (for credits purpose in the event the news is brought out of CEFC), and where the article was read from (if any).
9. Please post the translated article in the same post of the original article. Thereafter, please reply in the thread to notify members that the translated article has been translated. If there is not enough space, just post the article together with your reply. Also, if a [trans needed] is included in the topic/subject title, please edit it to take away the request, and if need be, edit the title to tidy up the topic/subject title. All posting format can be found in the board rules and regulations.
10. If in the midst of translation, and you realise that you can’t finish it, please PM another translator to enlist her help. Do not stop halfway when u have already accept the article. PM another fellow translator and ask her to finish it for you.

As you can see, we really deem the post of a translator vital to our forum. So we really hope that those who apply will be able to commit to these job responsibility. Don’t worry, apart from the 5 active translators, I’m sure others will be able to help, and they too, will leave an indication in the thread. So if you think you can really help us in this, please apply for the post.

2. As a designer, you ensure that all works are created by you and they are not against the copyright law. This means that you are not allowed to use pictures attain from places without the people consent unless they are pictures that;


- You have scanned from magazine of celebrities meaning they are free for usage (this does not include scans made from people's art magazine etc.)

- Pictures of celebrities they have to be primary sources, meaning no editing of people artwork for your own artworks.

- Pictures you have taken yourself/ created by you

3. All brushes/patterns/background/texture/fonts and etc. that you use have to be downloaded from website which are open for all. This means that you are allowed to download their things and they've given their consent.

4. Pictures from website such as deviantart etc. can be use only if you have the artist consent/ they are stock images (remember not all stock images under resources of deviantart are usable, so do check out their term of usage before using).

2. How long will you be able to be online? depends.. when holiday will be longer.. abt 2-3 hours during school period.. holiday about 6-7hours.

Dearie, i need to ask this. me, i can't read nor understand chinese and most of Ella's news wud b in chinese. i usually get my news from my friend in Ella AF thread who's a really active baidu ella member. my question is, do mods really hv to provide news since some members are faster than us finding the news? i dun wanna b thought of as an inactive mod. i really wanna help. huhu

sweetie~ it's okie~ no worries about updating~ what is impt as a mod to you is the maintenance of the forum to ensure all formats are being posted correctly, no repeated threads, spam posts and etc~ updating of news, haha~ we'll handle it just fine~ what you have been updating so far with SY translations would be fine. :) translations will be handled by the translators and either fishy or me in the forum, so it's fine~

2. How long will you be able to be online? Depends actually. On a regular basis, I'd say 5+ hours. On weeks of my exams, it'll be less.
